Festive Fun at Harvey Nichols!

We had a fantastic evening at Harvey Nichols in Birmingham yesterday. There was a magical festive atmosphere with carol singers, mulled wine, mince pies and many gorgeous products to indulge in over the holiday season and we hope that all the budding cake decorators who came along and tried their hands at piping and embelishing our gingerbread cookies enjoyed themselves as much as we did too! It was fab fun, and really interesting to watch everyone coming up with totally different designs on their cookies! Each customer had the opportunity to choose a snowflake or tree cookie and decorate it with funky colours, glitters and dragees and best of all take their creation home at the end of the evening. A massive thanks to all the customers and also the all the friendly staff at Harvey Nichols for making the evening so enjoyable and succesful. We are really looking forward to the next event.

We are really happy to announce that we have created an exclusive range of organic Christmas cakes and cookies for Harvey Nichols food markets across all 6 of their fantastic stores. Pop in soon to pick up yummy stylish gifts for the lucky people in your lives!! We will be attending the Xmas Fete event at the Birmingham store on 30Th November where we will be holding a masterclass in decorating gingerbread cookies for the holiday season, and also the Knightsbridge event on 17Th December.

Bride Ideas and Frock-Ups book Launch

We had a fab evening recently at a church in Notting Hill.....We were lucky enough to be involved with the launch for Bride Ideas and Frock- Ups, an absolutely fantabulously funny and entertaining book by Sim Canetty Clarke, Amanda Lockhart and Susannah Frieze. The book is choc full of beautiful photographs and witty anecdotes, stories and jokes, a cracking read for anyone, particularly if you are a potential bride and/or groom!! We have a copy on our coffee table in the boutique for our customers to peruse whilst indulging in an organic cupcake and coffee but we are always reading it rather than busy working!

We made a Belgian Chocolate Rose cake covered entirely in handmade Belgian chocolate roses as a centerpiece, one of our signature designs..... After a very enjoyable and successful evening, perfectly orchestrated by Amanda Sherlock of Giles Sherlock Event Design indulging (too much!) in gorgeous canapes from Eventuate whilst surrounded by spectacularly beautiful flowers from Euphoric Flowers, the speeches followed and the cake was cut amidst a flurry of confetti and applause!! Congratulations girls!!!
